Earned Wage Access Models – Repayment Structures and Core Differentiators

Presentation by: J.P. Kehoe – Enterprise Account Executive - rapid! By Green Dot

J.P. Kehoe is an Enterprise Account Executive with rapid! by Green Dot, with nearly 30 years in financial services- spanning business development, operations, and customer experience. Throughout his career, J.P. has been passionate about educating businesses and consumers on money management, money movement, and financial wellness.

J.P. joined rapid! by Green Dot in November 2022 and works with organizations to help advance their understanding of modern workforce payment solutions. He travels throughout the East Coast, attending conferences, trade shows, and industry meetings to promote education, awareness, and responsible practices within the Earned Wage Access (EWA) and PayCard industries.

J.P. is a graduate of St. Lawrence University and earned his MBA from Fitchburg State University. He also completed a graduate program at the Pacific Coast Banking School at the University of Washington, further complementing his extensive career in financial services.

Meeting Summary:

“What if your employees never had to choose between paying an overdraft fee and putting gas in their car to get to work?”

Nearly every employee has bills or unexpected expenses that do not wait for payday, yet offering Earned Wage Access requires more than flipping a switch. Join us for a practical, payroll-focused conversation about how EWA works, the employee benefits it can deliver, and the critical questions surrounding wage calculations, settlement, compliance, and employee communication.

2026 Elections!

We will be holding elections for the Board positions of President and Treasurer at the November meeting.

If you are interested in running for office or would like to nominate someone, please contact Secretary Zachary McGowan at secretary@sepaapa.org.
