A Presentation by: Stephanie “Sam” McAtee, CPP
Summary:
We will examine ways to exploit powerful Excel formulas and techniques to make your routine workbooks simpler, reusable, and more efficient. We will explore UNIQUE, COUNTIF/COUNTIFS, SUMIF/SUMIFS, and CONCATENATE (to build super-keys for pivot tables) – all to give you and edge to building better pay-period, accounting-period, quarterly, and annual reports. We will review developing a set of personal-standards to make your workbooks consistent, self-documenting, and re-usable.
Stephanie “Sam” McAtee, CPP, is the Director of Payroll at McLane Company, Inc. in Temple, Texas. She is a member of PAYO’s Board of Contributing Writers; Education Advisory Committee; Hotline Referral Service; Social Networking Committee; Government Relations Task Force (GRTF) Child Support, Federal Issues, and Garnishments Subcommittees; the Strategic Payroll Leadership Task Force (SPLTF) Emerging Technologies Subcommittee; Manufacturing Subcommittee; and is Co-Chair of the SPLTF Best Practices Subcommittee. McAtee also represents PAYOs a member of the National Council of Child Support Directors (NCCSD) Workgroup. McAtee earned the CPP designation in 1996 and has been a Certified Excel Expert since 2010. She received PAYO’s Meritorious Service Award in 2017 and the Special Recognition Award in 2021.
