Cost: $45.00 for Members - $55.00 for Non-members

SEPA Presents:

PA Act 32 Panel of Experts - 2RCH's

Our last chapter meeting on the topic of implementing Act 32 raised a lot of questions from our membership about how to interpret the requirements of the act.  Our August meeting will be a two-part event providing 2 RCH's for our members.

First, we will hear from Judith Mester of Deloitte Tax. She will present information about the act, and their approach to compliance.

After a short break, we will regroup for a panel of experts question and answer session.  We will have representatives from Berkheimer, Lancaster Tax Collectors and others to answer questions from the membership.

We will serve a roasted chicken dinner, coffee and dessert.  If you have special dietary needs, please contact Sharon at vicepresident@sepaapa.org.

Seating is limited:  Please register early!

Registration for this event will close as of August 5, 2011 or earlier if registration reaches room capacity.  Walk-ins cannot be guaranteed a seat and will only be allowed into the event at the chapter's discretion based on available accommodations.

Community Outreach Project

The SEPA Community Outreach project for August is more personal than our projects have been in the past.  A young woman in the area is in desperate need of items for her new baby girl, born on June 30.  She is the niece of a co-worker of Raeann Hofkin.  This beautiful young woman, who suffers from some medical issues, is trying to get her life together for herself and her new baby.  She is currently staying with an elderly grandparent, but the family is only able to provide very limited support.  As of a few weeks ago the baby only had a the blankets, diapers and bottles from the hospital.  We are asking SEPA members to provide small basic items suitable for a young baby (such as onesies, diapers, sleepers for the fall) and money that can be put combined for the purchase of a large item (such as a pack-n-play or stroller).  We know that we can count on own members to provide generous support for someone in need.  Thank you!
