The North Penn IMA!!!
For our next quarterly chapter meeting we will be trying something new by having a Joint meeting with The North Penn Chapter of the IMA (Institute of Managerial Accountants).
They have offered to host at their location, The William Penn Inn, just a few miles down the road from the Blue Bell Country Club. This a onetime event that will offer all members a chance to network with new professionals, check out a different venue, see how other organizations run their meetings and hopefully build some lasting relationships to help us in our professional and personal lives.
The cost for this event will be $35 for anyone who wants to attend!

SHIFTING FROM EMPLOYEE ENGAGEMENT TO EMPLOYEE EXPERIENCE
With the “War on Talent” organizations are scrambling to hire and retain the best and brightest. This workshop guides you through the challenges when creating and executing employee engagement programs. You are given tools on the best interventions and strategies that will ensure a successful employee engagement program addressing today’s issues. This is an energetic workshop that enables you to promote and invigorate “Employee Engagement” from the planning stage to the employee experience.
Presented By: Dr. Annie Kingcade
Dr. Annie Kingcade is a multi-dimensional professional with over forty years’ experience in Human Resources. She has held several Executive Human Resources positions and has worked in both the Corporate and Non-profit arenas. Dr. Kingcade has recently transitioned her experience into a consulting practice - AK Associates in which her primary objective is collaborating with organizations' leadership in the development of their employee engagement programs. In addition, she is an Adjunct at Wilmington University where she teaches Personal Mastery, Human Resources, and Pluralistic Communities to Higher Education and Organizational Leadership Doctorate students. She also serves as Dissertation Chair and Field Advisor for Doctorate students as well as a member of the College of Education, Ed. D. Organizational Leadership Advisory Committee. In addition, she serves as the Chairperson of the Eastern Pennsylvania UM Conference Human Resources Committee. Dr. Kingcade earned her doctorate degree from Wilmington University and her dissertation was "The Impact of Management Initiatives on Employee Engagement, Employee Satisfaction, and Retention in a Mental Health Care Organization". She has an MBA from West Chester University and a BA from Temple University and possesses several Human Resources designations.

Registration for this event will close as of May 20, 2019 or earlier if registration reaches room capacity. Walk-ins cannot be guaranteed a seat and will only be allowed into the event at the chapter's discretion based on available accommodations.
